Franklin Mint Pewter 427 S/C Cobra
Has anyone seen the limited edition Franklin Mint Shelby Cobra in fine pewter? Only 1000 copies worldwide. This puppy weighs in at 12 pounds, and is 12 3/4" long. Cost is $1,093.90.
I have a neighbor that called me over last night to see his new car. I could not believe what I saw sitting on his display case. This S/C Cobra is a work of art, polished pewter, and real leather seats. What got me was the size and weight of the pewter sculpture. |
Franklin Mint store in the mall near me had one. Looks nice but too pricey. One I can drive and the smaller aluminum franklin mint model for $105 or 125 can't remember is all I need. I suppose if you have the shelf space and the extra bucks go for it.

Franklin Mint Pewter 427 S/C
I was able to afford the smaller version from Franklin Mint. I could not believe how much detail they put into this car. The body finish is super clean and all of the parts are there and are very nicely detailed. Guages, Pedals Suspention, Hand Brake, Engine wires, Hydraulic cylinders, you name it it's there and done nicely. Well worth the $105.00. I could only imagine how nice the bigger one must be. For the money their asking, Hey if you got it to burn??
