Extrude hone
Is there any place in the DFW area that does extrude honing?

Can't answer your exact question, but extrude honing seems to have taken a back seat to actual porting, specifically since porting can better target the major problem areas with most manifolds. You may want to compare the 2 processes carefully, if you haven't yet.

I actually have a friend with a 99 cobra that I went through this with a while back....no one in Dallas is setup to do extrude honing. He actually found the place that did it for Ford on all the 99 recalls. Not cheap at 600 bones for his manifold. Let me know if you want their contact information and I will get it. Matt |
