Hey Houston Folk!!!
Howdy!
Who out there would like to pick the place and organize June's Houston Cobra Lunch Meet on the 8th? We need a place with good parking and a place were we can stop traffic is always fun by me!:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: Dennis "el Aggie presidente" |
don't everyone speak up at once.....
|
Hey Dennis,
You going to go to Tulsa? Come on el Presidente...come join the drunkfest. Matt |
Dennis, I am not much help, as I don't know where anything is in Houston. I am just a follower when it comes to those things. Come on somebody!!! Later, David Shelton.

Dennis
You guessed it... I will be working that weekend..... Steven:( |
still no takers????
|
I suggest we head over to Goode Company BBQ on Kirby, just south of HW 59. Goode Co. has plenty of parking (if we arrive early) and plenty of outside tables. Also, the BBQ is damn good too!
Just a suggestion. Scott, SPF#1230/393 |
Just tell me what time to be there and I'm in.
|
Scott, I need some directions! Also a time. Cobra will probably make the trip. Later, David Shelton.
|
Let's meet at 10:30 Saturday morning at Goode Co BBQ. The address is 5109 Kirby. This is just south of Hwy 59. They open at 11am, so let's get there early to get the best parking spots and best tables outside.
Remember this is a rain or shine event! If it rains, we'll see you there in your daily driver! See you then! Scott, SPF#1230/393 |
:D :D This should be fun!!!!
Scott, THANKS FOR STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE!!!!! |
I will drive Cobra if I can find time to adjust valves, change oil, and work out carb problems. Danm, its loud! Later, David.
|
Scott, the wife and I plan to attend. Looking foward to seeing everyone.

Hi, Dennis. Janet and I will be out of town for the next two weekends. So we will miss the world class BBQ and good conversation at Goode and Company. As always, will try for later. All of you guys have a great time. Tom & Janet Batchelor

Sorry Guys and Gals -
Naja and I will be at the Kemah show with my other Club. I will be out of the state for the next meeting. So, I guess I'll see you in August (if we decide to have a meeting in the hot weather). If any of you are planning to be at the Mid America Challenge at Heartland Park in Topeka in July, I hope to see you there. Regards, Frank Newman |
DENNIS,
I am sorry to miss this meeting saturday, will be in N.C. looking for lost small white balls at Pine Hurst. I will be there in thought! Craig |
Let's have a good turn out Saturday and chow on some Great BBQ.
Scott's idea to get there early is GREAT!!!! they have some choice parking places we can snagg and really show off the cars. Looking forward to it. |
Roadside Assistance?
If it isn't raining, I am going to drive Cobra. Since this is its first trip, any volunteers to rescue me if it breaks? Or at least a cell phone number for a willing TCC member? I hope I can give it a short run Friday to check it out better. Only have 140 miles on it so far but maybe it is through breaking pieces for a while. Later, David Shelton.
