Houston in July
hey everyone,
The second weekend of the month is upon us so I thought I would bring up the idea of the meeting. I don't think I will be able to make it as I have another engagement that day but thought you guys would want to get the cars out and make some noise. If no one has a place they would rather go, I would suggest the old standby 59 diner. I am sure one of you has a better idea. I just wanted to throw something out to get the conversation started. Let me know what you think and where the meeting will be just in case I can make it. Have fun! |
I'm ready! Let's roll! Someone pick a place. Later, David.

59 diner is perfect.
|
Second the motion...59 Diner on I-10...it's cool. 10-10:30-ish?
|
I will be there someone pick a time. Scott , Morgan are you out there? Craig
|
How about 10:30? Brandy and I can be there, but we'll be in the jeep, no Cobra this time. We need to head to the airport to pick someone up right after the meet, so the Cobra will stay in the garage.
See you all then. Scott, SPF#1230 |
I plan on attending.Dennis, sorry you have to miss this time.Pete.

I don't own a Cobra...yet, but my wife and I are planning on buying a FFR in the near future. Will anyone be there with a factory five that I can come take a look at?
Thanks, Rob rbivens@houston.rr.com |
Rob - please join us. We usually have a few FFR cars at our meets. I think you'll find the best way to learn about these cars is to get out and talk to as many owners as possible. I can't tell you how many I talked to / bugged about their cars and what they might do differently next time. Everyone was more that willing to tell me about their work.
See you tomorrow. Scott, SPF#1230 |
Scott-Thanks for responding to my post, and thanks for the invite. I will definitely be there.

Change of plans. I am not going to be able to make the meeting today. Hope y'all have fun! Wish I could be there! Later, David.
|
David - That's too bad. I was hoping to hear the Cleveland!
See you next time. Scott, SPF#1230 |
Scott, maybe we could have a little evening cruise sometime. I wish Houston wasn't so far away for me. Met 2 local Beaumont area Cobra owners I am trying to recruit. My latest project is building a dual 4 barrel intake for my 351C. I may finish in next couple of weeks. Ought to be a kick! Tell all hello, later, David.
