Just need some opinions.
I lost my job in April and I am almost at the end of my severance and unemployment just wont cover the mortgage and a cobra payment. I was wondering what you think my car would bring on the open market. Brief overview of the car.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Times are tough and I can relate.
Can you give us more info? It's hard to say without more details. Is it driveable? What kind of tires and wheels do you have? How much do you have in it so far? Best of luck to you in your search for a new job. I hope that you land one quickly and don't have to give up the cobra. Charmer |
I feel for you buddy. I was let go in mid-June and my severents is already gone. Unemployment won't cover squat! I'm getting my street corner back!!!:D
Hopefully won't have to sell mine either. I'd rather strike out on my own I think. Best of luck to you. |
An unfinished car, whether a kit or a resto, is worth less than the sum of the parts you have piled up around the garage to complete the build.

The car is complete. except for paint and interior.
To list more things. I have 15x7 in the front and 15x10 in the rear. They are torque thrust D with Yokohama rubber. The seats are '92 Integra seats. I have been driving the car for over a year now. It was registered in August of 2001. Just had the second inspection completed about 3 weeks ago. I have about 1600 miles on it. I had a bout with the first 2 engines. Im on my third. THe first engine was defective as the engine builder installed wrong bearings. I received the second engine(from the same builder) and had about 200 miles on it and blew a cylinder wall. The engine bored .060 over... Too much for my taste... This last engine was from a local builder and its only bored .030 over and the builder felt very comfortable with it... I trust him as I have seen his work before... anyway. I have a loan for that car and I how about 17K. THe entire build (without adding up receipts) was about 32K. THat is without paint. I hope that answers some of the questions. Thank you guys for for the wishes. Im hoping I find a job so I can keep the car. I enjoy driving the car.... THanks again.... Let me know your thoughts. |
