HI insurance rates a rip off
All insurance rates in Hawaii are incredibly higher than the mainland... however, we're lucky to even get full coverage here on any car not in the Bllue Book; liability only even with an appraisal. I'm paying over $1000/yr for coverage on my Cobra replica. My record is clean and My teenage son's not getting near it.... yet. Does anyone have suggestions re insurance with good service AND decent rates??

Welcome to Hawaii! Auto insurance $100/month....Milk, $100/month...Gas $100/ month, etc,.etc. The only real bargain is surf wax....But it sure is nice here..........
I have shopped for auto insurance here from all the big companies, and there are no good deals. Be sure to include the uninsured/underinsured portion on your policy, because there are a lot of guys here driving "soverignty style"........ Aloha!:3DSMILE:

What about rates?
Say, what about the insurance rates in Texas? Are the cars insurable?

Hawaiian insurance.....
BR, I hope you are'nt paying all that for liability only.....I have full coverage for about $1200/ year through Progressive Auto Ins., found it through Bank of Hawaii, or go online. My Cobra is registered as a "Kit Car" and the insurance company has it as a
"Roadster Cobra"...Tried twice to straighten them out on the name, but the books did'nt list anything else......Hope this helps, Aloha........C. Coe:3DSMILE:

do yourself a favor, check STATE FARM for A G R E E D U P O N V A L U E policy. I checked with my agent and he said he could write me. I am currently with Grundy on 3 cars.
