"cobras by the bay" fall event nov. 9 part 2
hey guys and gals
things are starting to come togethor very nicely. we are in the process of securing our sponsors. because of space the event is going to be limited to 60 cars. all classic car clubs in the region are being contacted. now if we can have more than the 5 local coabras. this is the latest on the schedule. meet at my shop friday for a tailgate party at 5-10pm. then all those that need to secure their cars will do so. the night owls are on their own. saturday, the cobras will meet at crosstown ford at 9am. all other cars will meet at 10-12 for preregistration. at 12pm the cobras will begin the cruise. from 1-2pm all registered cars will meet at the fiesta square event center. around 5pm the cobras will return to the fiesta square event center. at 7pm stretch and his band will begin the entertainment that will last until 10pm. there will be concessions and vendors at the event center. i will post again in about two weeks for a head count to secure spaces indoors. look for cobras by the bay part 3. everyone have a great week! paul |
Paul hope to have Cobra Dudes car done by then if he is willing to let me drag it down there or something like that .Really would like to bring somthing .I may even try to get down there on Friday and spend the week end need to sit down and plan things out ..

Cobras by the Bay
Paul - put me on the "Be There" list for "Cobras by the Bay". The events planned look pretty cool and it will be good to see some of the South Texas Cobra Bretheren again. Also, a good chance to spend some time with my son who is now attended school @ Texas A&M at Corpus. Don't count on seeing me Friday as I will be pulling in pretty late, but will hook up with the group on Saturday morning at the dealership. I am borrowing a friend's trailer and assume that I can pry the Tahoe away from the wife.

glad to here that you will make it down. don't worry about getting in late as my shop is available if you need a place to put your snake. any chance that you can bring some t shirts to sell during the show? all the cobras will be seperate from all other vehicles, after all we are special! thanks for bringing up the tech score! i was still fuming on sunday but i went out and had my run and was better.....until i watched the cowgirls,er cowboys. have a great week. paul |

Friday night music
Hey Paul...GREAT EVENT!!! This turning out to be one of those once in a lifetime deals :)
Of course you know that I'll be there but I wanted to let you know that the band is also playing a dinner show in front of the Lexington Aircraft Carrier (at Pier 99 seafood restraunt) that Friday from 6 to 10pm. I'll be talking up the event at the show as well. I'll be pulling in early on Friday and I'm wondering if there is a safe place to park the trailer and cobra for the night. Do you have room near your shop? Can't wait!! Charmer |

since you are the first to ask you have a choice of either using my shop, if the trailer is not too big, or you can leave it in the event center. i need to touch base with you, so i'll try to call your cell. i think i have the number. i'll be posting for a head count starting monday and update on what is going on. hopefully we will have a lot of participants and spectators. have a great weekend. paul |
