If you want to have "classic" plates on your cobra, contact: OLD TEXAS LICENSE PLATES JESSE PEREZ 210-532-7456(home) 210-513-2799(pager) Buy them from him, take them to your tax office(where you get your registration/plate), and they will inspect them, and then assign them to you in their computer. Costs $15.00 a year. He had LOTS to choose from. He was out of NEW 1965, but had NEW plates for 1964, 1966,1967. The ones I got were in great condition(see attached photo). Prices are $30 - $60 ..depending on condition Blake |

did you get your cobra reg. as a '65 ? when i went thru getting '67 plates on my '67 camaro i was told by the dps the year of the plates and car had to be the same. if things have changed could you pass on what the regulations are now ? great to see you got it on the road in time for corpus ! |
yes...it's registered as a 1965......
