Where is Snakepit Auto in Long Island? I spent most of the summer months on Long Island. Sounds like a good place to spend my time.

I note that the original post from MY 401K is from NY and it is on the Texas Cobra Club thread. Is this typical NY where everything West of the Hudson River is out West? We all know that Texas -- the only independent nation to enter the US -- is out there somewhere West of the Hudson. But in the spirit of the season, I assume that this is NY good cheer for all of us both East and West of the Hudson. In that case, "thanks for the thought."

I am sending Best Wishes for a Happy New Year to all Cobra-holics in our Great Country and abroad. Sorry for any misconception. Captain Speed, The guys gather every Saturday morning at Snakepit Automotive in Freeport for breakfast. All SPF's that are going to be distributed in the Northeast pass thru this facility. We get to view the Snakes before delivery. This is the easiest way to get there: 1. Meadowbrook Pky south to exit M9W (Merrick Rd West) stay in left lane on the exit ramp and on Merrick Rd also. 2. Go 200 yards on Merrick Rd to 1st light and turn left onto Mill Rd and stay in left lane. 3. Go to next light and turn left onto Buffalo Ave. 4. At the end of the street, turn left and continue on Buffalo Ave. 5. Snakepit Automotive will be on the left side. 6. The phone # is 516-771-8090 or 516-379-1300 ext 104. Ask for Bill or Dan Ostrower.
