Thanks guys,
I look forward to meeting you all, too. I have set my car up for long distance rallies and this trip will be like two of them. I can't wait to see you and all those cars, too. When I was a kid, I used to go to summer camp at Garner State Park near Uvalde. There's some great roads in West Texas! It will be fun to burn up a few of them with 80 Cobras and my Dad. See you there, Paul |

Come on OVER/DOWN!!!
Paul & Clois,
Man, is it GREAT or what to get "COBRAPHILES" from other states coming to join the TCC for our annual event. Paul, you definitely win the "long distance award" so far, and we had been looking to hear from our ol' buddy Clois for a while, since we all were expecting him to join us! This is really shaping up into a PARTYYYYYY in Austin, and I can tell you one thing that's a fact ... THE TEXAS COBRA CLUB KNOWS HOW TO PARTY! I am really looking forward to meeting the new faces, in less than a month. John Russell **) **) **) **) **) |

Dick; Add Doug Reed to your list.
----------------------------- Doug's response: We are coming with at least two cars. Maybe three. Has someone talked to Steve Newmark with Lonestar? I just called him, he said he knew about it and that some of his guys were coming? ------------------------------- Somebody from DFW call Steve and get them to register. |
Hey, Dick, I plan to be there. I will come with my son, Kevin. I'd like my name badge to read: John Weatherly, Dallas, Lone Star in the Works.
Thanks! Looking forward to it! |
Ed - Doug Reed is number 49 on list.
John - gotch covered on the name badge - is your car still in build stage or coming to Austin? |
Dick,
I communicated to you at the start and don't see my name in the list. Gary Sharapata Monica Sharapata We still are planning on attending although may have a conflict that has come up. If we bail I'll make a post and someone could grab my room if needed! |
Name Badge yes - Cobra list no
Gary - I have the name tags already printed and in the envelope for you and Monica. The list of names on the thread is the count on actual Cobras for Austin.
|
Dick haven't you figured out that rule variations only work in my favor.:3DSMILE:
Not only can Dallas not claim OK, TN or AK they have to subtract 1 car for each out of state car that passes through DFW and I'm still not counting the blue cars:D :D I think houston will also have to count Doug and any cars coming from LA. It really doesn't matter since after Greg is done "fixing" the name tags, Austin is going to win by 1, right Greg:eek:  |
I'm bringing my roller. I just can't wait a year from now.
|
Hey Dick: Small correction to number 66.
66. Robert Beaudreaux (minus engine) Should be "Boudreaux." It's spelled exactly like it sounds. (if you're cajun that is) Boudy |
I don't speak French
Boudy - Sorry - forgot to turn on my Coonass spell check system. So is the Backdraft guy bringing your TKM car to Austin along with another demo car for two of you to scoot around in for the weekend? Does he need a Name Badge?
|
Turn on that spelling checker!
Dick; You also misspelled my last name on the list:
Csoltko not Csolko |
Dick: I just got an email from Reg Dodd and he is going to make it to Austin with my car and another. He will register on the thread this weekend.
