After 15 months, it's done.
Sorting it out this weekend, and so far so good. A oil cooler weeping issue to deal with but not a big deal. Now comes the hard part....registering the monster. See you all in Austin, and hopefully, the Feb meeting!! Bud |
This Bud's for you - congrats:cool:

This might be a dumb question but, what is a "REBAT"
|
Very cool! Looking forward to seeing 142 in Austin!

Lookin' GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jim,
Boy, does the car look GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD, or what?? I can't wait to see it on the 1st at the February meeting. I have a feeling you are going to be a hit in Austin also with that Bad Boy. John R. |
Mr. Mike:
The original comp cars and S/C's used dual batteries (actually aircraft batteries) with the brand name "Rebat". They were mounted behind the passengers seat on the lower ledge of the cockpit. Original street cars mounted the single battery in the engine compartment My car utilizes the same set-up, as you can see in the photos. Bud:JEKYLHYDE |
