IF ANY OF THE DALLAS OR AUSTIN OR SURROUNDING AREA COBRA FOLKS WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THIS WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 12TH STARTING AT 10AM LUNCH WILL BE AT 12 NOON CATERED $8.50 PLATE BAR-B-QUE AND A DRIVE STARTING AROUND 3PM. Bar-b-que. You are at the heart of real bar-b-que country. What is called bar-b-que up here leaves much to be desired. I can not think much better than combining bar-b-que and Cobras. Y'all Texans go party.

Say, James. do you guys in Waco still have that BIG annual street rod/car show by the river? If so, when is it? Maybe all us Cobra guys should try for a get-together in Waco that weekend also, and overdose them with REALLY cool cars - cobras!

RIGHT NOW THE CLUB HAS FOUR CARS FULLY RUNNING, TWO THAT ARE A FEW WEEKS AWAY, AND THREE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING BUILT. THERE ARE GOING TO BE A COUPLE OF GUYS COMMING TO AUSTIN BUT NO CARS YET :CRY: MOST OF US ARE HAVING TO WORK THAT DAY :CRY: THERE IS A BIG CRUISE FEST ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND THAT WILL BE CAR SHOW, SWAP MEET AND CRUISE ON FRIDAY SAT AND SUN ...THEN ANOTHER CAR SHOW DOWN BY THE BRAZOS RIVER DO NOT HAVE THE DATE ON THAT ONE YET... James, congrats on the formation of the Waco Cobra Club. I will put the April deal on my calendar and try to make it down that weekend. I have heard that the Labor Day Street Rod event in Waco is pretty cool with lot of great cars. You need to promote it here on ClubCobra...Waco would be pretty convenient for Dallas, Austin and Houston Cobras.;) Hope to see some of you Waco guys in Austin - Cobra or No Cobra.
Oh, and don't call Dennis "Denise" - he is already sensitive enough about the abuse he gets because he is an Aggie.:rolleyes: |
ops so sorry about the spelling dennis my step son is a aggie so we go to aggieland all the time.... he wants to build a cobra also but we all know it will be painted marroon with sarge on the hood...
