Titles in Texas??
I'm trying to find out about obtaining a vehicle title in Texas.
This is for a "scratch built" car - or a "specially constructed vehicle" as it would be called in Arizona. Can an outfit like Titles Unlimited quarantee such a title in Texas? Are there special rules for obtaining such a title in Texas? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! |
Email me...most won't discuss it on the forum.

The manufacturer should provide you with an MSO. When the car is completed, the state will want parts receipts, MSO, inspection, and pictures. There is a special form they will provide you that indicates you married the componets.(very similar to a Salvage title)
They will then issue a Replica title. Boudy |
Thanks guys!
This is for a car that is built by the owner, from scratch, not one that is bought from FFR or Lonestar or SPF, etc. More like a "one off" kinda car. I appreciate the replies. |
OOH! Not sure. Call the tax office. They'll take the time to answer your questions. (At least the one in Tarrant county does)
