Professional hauler to Spring Fling
OK, so you want to go to Spring Fling but you don't have a trailer or the time to dirve up and back. Situation solved! DV (Ed Combs) had me contact Intercity Lines. I have seen and been in their car haulers and they are nice.
They have given us a special price to haul in an enclosed tractor trailer with Lift-Gate loading, insured to $3,000,000 to from DVSF. They have also agreed to leave the trailer near our hotel, Hampton Inn, so we may park them inside in case of not so nice weather at no cost. They will make 2 pick-ups, one in Houston and one in Dallas. They will pick our Cobras up around June 15 and have them waiting for us on June 19. We will load them up on June 22 when we finish and have them back to us around June 25. You can fly in and out from Columbus, OH. on Continental or Soutwest Airlines. We figure we can get 8 Cobras in a trailer. The total cost to be divided between those going is $7,000 for transport to/back and parking while there. This figures out to be $875 each for 8 cobras. If you have an interest contact me. Paul W. Risch toy pwr PS: If you want to buy a raffle ticket I have some. |
WOW! :)
Alright Paul. Now darn it, I want to see this huge TCC well represented at the Fling! C'mon now-ya all better be here! DV...Dennis...this means you too. :) |
Sorry guys but the majority of the Dallas TCC are comitted to the Mid America Shelby meet in Tulsa OK. Believe me when I say we will have just as much fun there as ya'll will there.

Also hate to say it but I would guess that if any of you came to Mid America and experienced the TCC hospitality that we put on while there you might think twice deciding where the most fun is.
Lets see, Two days open track road course, One day drag racing, Parking lot Margaritta parties by TCC, Free buffet, Heavy Ford & Goodyear sponsorship, along with many others and a Car Show on Sunday. 1200 cars, and every part of this event runs like a well oiled clock. Have fun guys....we will too!! Gary |
Paul,
You might try posting the information on this deal in the "Cobra Grandstand" section of ffcobra.com . There is a large Texas contigent frequenting that board. Include something like "Shipping from Texas..." in your topic line. Good luck, Jeff P.S. Is Elvis going to drive your car into London again this year?;) |
