Texas Crazy Driver?

I've see alot of crazy things people do, but this guy takes the cake. Kathy and I were driving along when I spot a police officer comming up fast behind me. As the Officer passed our car, I could not believe what I was observing. A pickup truck was tail gating the Police Car at a high rate of speed. As we got to the top of the hill, we observed the Police Car (lights flashing) pulling over the pickup truck at the bottom of the hill. Another crazy Texas driver getting a ticket. What was this guy thinking, tail gating a Police Car.

Crazy? I don't know. But, when I recently stopped into a State Farm Agency here in Michigan to see if they would insure a Cobra, I was told State Farm may quit offering any type of auto insurance in Texas.

Go figure..........

Our secretary was coming into the office this morning and was clipped on the rear bumper by a gal in a brand new Mercedes SUV at the intersection a 1/4 block from the turn in to the office--she was driving their old farm truck, a Dodge 1 ton PU(her car is in the shop for a tune-up)the truck has one of those huge Luverne bumpers on the back
Did about $3k worth of damage to the Mercedes--bent the PU bumper a little and removed some paint
Now get this--Carolyn was on a thru street the gal driving the Mercedes jumped the stop sign--then she had the audacity to try and blame Carolyn told the Police officer Carolyn deliberately stopped in front of her--then she had no DL with her--gave the officer a credit card as ID, couldn't find her insurance or registration--and insisted she was innocent, it was all Carolyns fault--threatened Carolyn with a lawsuit(her husband is an attorney)before the police arrived--Carolyn was interviewed and then was told she could leave--no ticket--she was really shook up as she has never had a moving violation in 45yrs of driving and never had an accident--don't know what the Mercedes got but knowing the BI Police she probably didn't get anything more than a warning--if you lived here you'd understand the polotics on this island--don't mess with the "rich" folks

I think they should have taken Carolyn to jail then. That is only fair. Someone has to do time.

TURK

People today can't drive and just like everything else they don't take responsibility for their actions...I am getting to the point that driving the car around here isn't fun...I am starting to look at doing country cruises because of these idiots...that why I got a 3/4 Ton 4x4 and they still pull over in my lane...I just stand my ground because I have payed for repairs before when they don't hit you you have to pay...to hell with that you want to hit me lets go..

Its amazing to watch the crap some of us go through when towing trailers...people cut you off and Morris even had someone try to pull over into him.

Texas is bad? Try SoCal! A while back I was driving into work early one morning in traffic when I see this import car bearing in on my position. I, the uncharacteristacally courteous driver in Los Angeles, get over to let him fly by at about 95 mph. All of this is pretty normal up until the point where I look at his car as he whizzes by & notice that he has one of those "little" spare tires on the fron of his car which are rated for 35mph(?). I've seen some pretty crazy stuff but that was about the worst. Russian Roulette anyone?

The biggest problem here is drivers are TO polite! It's the "Aloha" thing. Heaven forbid ANYONE would actually use their horn for anything!

And of course you have to wait for the other driver to "merge" even if it means your holding up a LONG line of cars behind you.

For a type A guy, this Aloha stuff is killing me, LOL.
