Houston Meeting in June?
Just got plates on SVX15800 and I'm looking for any excuse to drive! Are we still on for the Sundance Grill in Seabrook June 14?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'll be there. You will get better making excuses to drive your Cobra. They always need gas, brake checks, bread, milk, go buy a bolt or washer, try different air pressure in tires, and my favorite is: "TAS" (Therapeutic Adrenalin Stimulation)

I now have my wife making excuses: "Are you sure you don't want to head over to Marble Slab before we go home?" How sweet it is....

Someone else can give better directions, but here goes: The Sundance Grill is in a shipyard that is under the North-West side of the big bridge. Hope that helps.

I haven't been there yet, so be warned that your actual results may vary.
I tried Mapquest and wasn't comfortable with the results so I just spoke to Mark at the Sundance Grill. He said "Take Nasa Road 1 east from I-45. Turn right on 146 and turn right again just before the bridge. At the stop sign turn right into the entrance for the marina. Follow the road back and you can't miss it." I just got the car on the road last week.:D
but.. Saturday also happens to be moving day.:CRY: Looks like we won't make the June meeting. We'll shoot for July. |

We had a very good meeting today. Just 5 Cobras due to questionable weather. Also enjoyed some new faces to talk with and as always, the vittles were top shelf at Sundance!

Same here guys, it was nice meeting everyone. Now I can put faces with names. I'm sure I'll have a bunch more questions later on. The feathered friends at the Sundance told me to order beef or fish next time...LOL. :D
