Good News- Dick went home today!!

Here comes some good news!! Dick went home today about 3:00pm. He really looks good and his spirits are high. I stopped by the hospital this afternoon to check in on him, and lo & behold, his room was empty! I stopped at the nurses station and upon hearing that they had sent him home I let out a whoop! I drove over to their home, and spent about 45 minutes with Dick & Barbara, and it was wonderful! We don't have to worry about holding back anything from him because Barbara told him about Ronnie Reed and the little problem when his son took his car out. They have given the go-ahead for visits, but not before 10:00 am, and please call first- 214-340-4434. Barbara told me that the surgeon was convinced there was another presence in the operating room with them, and helped him guide the knife! Please, don't make too much fun of Dick's "ponytails" or encourage him toward a "comb-over" when he shows you his incision :LOL: because we don't want to give him any ideas.
