A little good news for a change...

Just passing some good news on..

TCC member Terry Colley from Houston doing well. I don't know who all of you know Terry, but he's building an FFR spec racer in houston. He's doing well after his surgery earlier this week...

Quote:

Good evening :-)

My mother and I are emailing on behalf of my father & we are pleased to let
you know that my father's surgery was successful. We were definitely happy
to find out that the cancer had not spread to the lymph nodes! The tumor in
the prostate was larger than expected, but it was contained. The doctor was
able to remove the prostate without a problem.

Dad will spend several hours in the Recovery Room this evening & will be in
his room by morning.

We thank you for your thoughts and prayers! It means the world to each of
us!

Sincerely,
Andrea Colley

Congratulations!........

this is good news! I went thorough a radical prostatectomy in January and can relate to this process. Keep up the positive thoughts and your father and all of you will come out of this fine.

Terry's Successful Surgery

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

It has been a very long and stressful month, but as my daughters email to Ryan pointed out I am doing GREAT!:D

Jim, if you just underwent this procedure in January, then you know exactly where I am on day five after surgery, don't you! Thanks for your positive comments!

I will write more as my healing continues and I can not wait until I can get back to finishing my car.

Warmest regards,

Terry

AMEN!

Yes it does help pass the time, but unfortunately I can only sit up at the computer for very short periods of time as the swelling really shows itself if I sit up in one position too long.

Again let me THANK EVERYONE for their thoughts, kind words, words of encouragement and their prayers. The Cobra community are some of the nicest people I have ever been associated with and really show their support for fellow members.

Warmest regards,

Terry
