How to Join
I will be picking up my new Cobra soon and was wondering how to join the Austin area group? I live in Spicewood!

Out of Town
Sorry that I won't be able to make this meeting, I'll be out of town. Must say that I really enjoyed the last one at the Mendez Ranch, which makes this one that much harder to miss.
JohnnyQuest, you should go to this meet and take your brother with you. Nobody is worried if you aren't in the Cobra yet. Just don't let them talk you into trying the salsa! |

Unfortunately, not at the painters yet. He came out and had a look. I have a few more things to do before taking it to him, like the hood hinge.
I was kind of disappointed that I didn't drive a Cobra out to Mustang's place for the get together last year. We took the Rav4, and you know, nobody even asked us to open the hood!!! |

Tony; We need instructions to your house from down town Lockhart. What is the FM road number you take from Hwy183? How many miles from Hwy183 to your house? I've been to your house only one time and it took me forever to find your house. I asked several locals and no one could help. Finally a cop help me. All I remember is that you head south through Lockhart. One thing for sure is that you don't live in Lockhart.%/

Directions would be great, I wanted to bring the car in on Saturday morning if that is OK. Will there be a get together and time to check out all the cars on Saturday morning?

Directions to my place coming from the North take HW 183 South into Lockhart go tru Lockhart till you see Walmart from that traffic light go 4 more miles s 183 look for a tall beige water tower on the right just after that you will make a right turn on st rd 671 go 1.3 miles on the right side look for a red brick house and red shop ... 1302 on the mail box .
Coming from the south take 183 north from Luling drive 7 miles take a left on 671 1.3 miles right side . You may also get the map to my place from our web site mustangmendez.com |
