Ya gotta love the perspective!
Had a friend in from out of town last week, and she asked the usual-ish questions about the Cobra like "did you also build the engine", etc. She seemed (the usual) impressed. But only 5 mins later, after the discussion changed, she saw my oil change pan in the corner, with the label still on it. So her eyes and voice perked up in awe as she asked "Oil Change? So wait... you can change your own oil too?!"

Hmmmm,,,,makes perfect sense to me! I can see building the car and/or the motor. But changing oil?? I HATE that part!

for the Male ego. "Yes ma'am, changing the oil is a very demanding and time consuming and only the strong at heart should attempt.." I bet she was a fun date if she was impressed with that.
