I met two people today one in Richardson (at Northern Tool) and another in Coppell (at Home Depot) driving their Cobras. Neither one had ever heard on Club Cobra or the Texas Club Cobra or the web site. Both cars were kit from LS. John Russell has anyone ever producted a hand out or flyer on TCC. With all the talent we have in the TCC we should get something together, please discuss at next meeting. For example, we might put a goody bag together that would help people know where they could get their Cobra worked on or tuned up or dynoed, front end aligment, etc.

We did have some business cards printed up once, with our web site on it!
Sounds like we need to get a mailing list from Lone Star, so that we can contact them. What do you think. The Royal Rhubarb |
Speaking of new members...
I noticed that the Join TCC still has Dick's email. I think we should change that. I'd hate for Barbara or Matt to have to deal with answering those emails. What can we do to get that email address switched over to someone else?

Mr. Worleyworld,
Are you now running the TCC site? |
Jay Knows!
I asked the same question to Jay at the "Cobrastock". I believe he said that Matt T was going to take the TCC web site over. Jay correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't forget to put my name down for anything in the Austin area! Unfortunately, I can't make the meet in Bastrop due to a wedding in the family. Randy :MECOOL:

Yea Tom i do believe that Dick had the cards done by a friend of his. I think I still have a few and the name is on the back as being donated by......
I do not know how we could do a better job of letting folks know we are here. I mean we started only a few years ago with , what three four people and now we have thousands, we gotta be doing something right! Remember the TCC saying "It's the people not the cars" I am sure that attitude has a lot to do with our succesful grouth rate |
Business cards are relatively cheap and easy to keep on you. I say we have some more made up. They don't have to be as fancy as the last run that was made (although it wouldn't hurt). On the website, we could always add a resources page...people can submit entries for it.

I can make cards and have them printed for about $90 per 1000 (color two sides on coated paper). Let me know if I can help Mr. President

We just had some new ones printed and I think they cost about 70-75$. They are relativly simple compared to the TCC cards that Dick handed out though.
I still have one of the cards Dick gave us. On the back information as follows Compliments of Advan-Tex Photografic & Imaging (214) 528-0900 www.advan-tex.com The artwork is already done and I am sure they have retained it for future us. If we use the same company that Dick got these from we could show some appreciation for the first set provided to us at not charge. What do you think? |
The link works
wow I guess I did it right |

Ed...Do we want an Aggie to take it over??? :) Just kidding Matt, haven't picked on you in a while.
Either way, John Russell may know how to get this information at some point down the road (probably not in the near future). What do you think, John? |
