Arrived in Tx
Hi (Houston area) Texas Cobra guys. I just arrived for a job transfer from Northern CA to Houston and SPF 1580 (and a Viper) arrived a few days after we got in. Both are stored, but accessable for weekend drives while the new house is completed.
Anyway, I wanted to make contact, see what/how local events are communicated and how fellow-snake drivers gather around here? Also, anyone know a good snake mechanic in the Clear Lake area, just in case? Looking forward to gatherings and cruises and hearing from other local snakeheads! Stu,
Welcome. I know of at least one mechanic who is a snake...;) |
Welcome StuM. Next meeting is at Willie's Ice House in Sugarland on Saturday Oct 11. Always rain or shine! Hope you come.

Stu,
WELCOME! I am in Clearlake a lot since I have a boat down there. Maybe we can meet for a Cobra lunch one weekend. The best way to stay up to date with what the Houston group is doing is to join the Yahoo email list. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Houstoncobraclub/ Look forward to meeting you. If you can, make plans to cruise down to corpus christi with us on Nov. 7 for the Cobras by the bay event that Paul Cass throws every year. Dennis |
Stu,
Welcome to Texas! Looks like you have lots of big boy toys you brought with you. Make sure you put down the 3rd week of Feb 04 for our annual meet in Austin, TX. |
Thanks
Thanks for the responses guys. Glad to see there's some fellow cobra fans out here. Business travel will keep me busy for several weeks, but I'll keep checking back to see when I can join up with the gang. Temporary living Apt and remote storage garage make quick and easy access to my weekend cars more difficult until we get into our new home around 12/1.
