GoodGuy's at TMS
Ray Russell and I took in the GoodGuy's at the TMS this past Saturday. All I can say is WOW! Several thousand custom cars, something for everyone. Spotted two cobras, one Dallas area local and one Houston. The best part of the show is watching the NASCARS doing hot laps at 160 MPH from the center of the track. The engine sounds from the cars echoed from the grandstands. After four hours of walking in the heat of the day we only saw three quarters of the cars. They all started to look alike so Ray and I decided to quit and get a couple of cold beers which tasted real good after a long afternoon. :3DSMILE:

It was good to see you again. I enjoyed talking to you at breakfast Saturday. It is amazing that you come all the way from Austin and some can't come across town! I assume that Ray got the monster home OK! |
