Flu Shot
Hey guy's don't do what I did, keep saying that I'll get my shot tomorrow.
For those of you that know me well, I have been in bed for three days now, the doctor says that I've got another 48 hours before I'm back . Can you guys even imagine me being in bed for three days! So, don't do what I did and keep saying that I'll get my shot tomorrow!! The Royal Rhubarb |

Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad.This years flu is some nasty stuff. Got my shot the second week of october. $15 and 10 minutes total. The only one in my family that hasn't gotten one yet is my dumba$$ brother-in-law. There are two manufacturers of the flun shot medicine. They have shipped ALL their product, there is NONE left in the wharehouse. Better get your shot soon 'cause when your local clinic/hosptial runs out, thats IT!
It takes four months to produce the vaccine. They won't be making any more for this season! Ernie |
Those looking for a shot are pretty late. It takes time after the shot to build up immunity that is why the shots are usually available in October...to have people vaccinated before the first reported cases. Though there can be side effects, they are usually mild although if you have an allergy to eggs you cannot get one. I have gotten a shot every year for the past 25 years and knock on wood it seems to have worked.
