Portable winshield wipers??
I finally finished the car and now comes inspection time. Does someone have a set they could lend me for my inspection? I told the guy it would never be in the rain but he said you have to have them. How much do they cost? And where can you get them?

Mike Ed C. has a set. You can do a search on Yahoo or other and look for Street Rod stuff or just the clip on wipers. I found them before and they are reasonable.
Are you coming Sunday ( tomorrow ) for the December meet?

Mike, I'm curious as to why you (and others) don't install permanent wipers on your Cobra?

David, no need for wipers as I won't drive my car if there is a chance of rain.

I have permanent wipers, but don't INTENTIALLY want to drive in the rain, less hassle at getting my yearly State Inspection also!

Functional washer/wipers are not only good for rain - they also come in handy for bird strikes, road grime, dead bugs and ripe mango splatters.

Try E n B or any place that sells replacement part for a boat . I replaced the one on my boat this year . It looks like it could be converted to be temporary . Check out a boat set up that uses a winsheild mount .

I just found a kit on jeepdoc.com for 29.99. I will probably have to make a mount for it.

Don't forget the occasional wayward water sprinkler.

That is what Rain-X is for. I have not had issues with an inspection. This last one was just a turn signal, tail and head light check. He did not even open the hood.
