No Problem Raceway

Hey Ya'll

My folks were visiting from NZ (went home today) and I took my Dad out to NPR for a night at the Drags. Couldn't stay the whole night as we had to be back in Baton Rouge at 9pm to pick up our wives from ..."The Mall" When we saw the bags we knew we should have picked them up at 8 .... :-) just kidding.

Anyway ... we had a blast. Those of you who have been there know what a terrific place it is. Cars would run every 30 seconds or so - or at least it seemed like it. Cars would be staging while the others were running the strip.

Anyway ... when we arrived we were asked if we were racing that night. hmmmm in an Isuzu Rodeo ? I ... ahhhh.... don't think so - although I did see a Cadillac SUV doing a few runs.

I told them at the gate that I'd been there back in November and had a great time with ya'll on the track. Lady on the gate promptly ran off and got a schedule for me. This place is BUSY !!!!! If anyone is thinking of a few days track time I could let you know the free dates and you could work from there before trying to make a booking. The schedule has bookings all the way out to mid December ...

Except of course if they have already sent ya'll a schedule.

Looking forward to having ya'll back. Sue & I'll bring the coffee. :-)

My wife was thinking of a pot of Jambalaya. You haven't eaten till you've tried some of her Jambalaya, or her seafood gumbo, or her oyster and artichoke soup, or her scrambled eggs. Then there's all her desserts :-) Her Jambalaya is her favorite so she thought she'd do that for ya'll.
