Houston to Austin drive......
Just a suggestion, but if you've any 2-way radios, bring them for the trip. I picked up some snazzy Cobra (great name) 5 mile radios from Wal-Mart for $58. Also included was an earpiece and mic to allow use while driving.

I promise Promise Promise to post the route tonight...Sorry for the delay. I have been doing a lot of goofing off lately. This past weekend was a boat trip from Kemah to Galveston for Mardi Gras:D
And David, I'll have you know they had a fully stocked HOOTERS right there on the strand.....now if a comment about Hooters and Mardi Gras is not open ended, I don't know what is....%/ %/ |
David,if you decide to drive your car I was wondering if we could roll mine into your trailer for the trip? I would like to sit in the cockpit making powerful engine sounds and guzzle beer all the way to Austin. Maybe listen to some Beach Boys on your in-trailer stereo. By the way,did you get the rest room and large screen TV installed yet? That way we won't have to stop every 50 miles. Is this OK with you? Your new best friend,Pete.
