Motto!

By now everyone knows my motto:

Rain or shine, Cobra or no Cobra, lets meet at Dave's place for lunch.:3DSMILE:

Ed Hubbard 03-22-2004 06:55 PM

I will be bringing mine so everyone plan on showing up to see it for the first time (I really do have one!)...

dameeks 03-24-2004 04:32 PM

I'll be there for my first Austin meet. Please be gentle with me. :)

Darren

Knock-on-wood, it looks like the weather is going to cooperate! I've been in the garage for the last 6 hours with another 6 tomorrow night and Friday off to finish. I might have to smoke a cigar! See you guys Sat...

Dang IT!

Just got the boys soccer schedule and we have a soccer game Saturday at 11:00 in Laga Vista (Sp). The game will be over at 12:00 noon so I might make it by 1:00 hope to catch Ed#2's car.

Save me a seat.

See ya'll Saturday.

Ed Csoltko 03-25-2004 09:15 AM

Cammer, Did you get the Cobra fixed? I'll be driving the limo with the jumper cables in hand. Want me to follow you up to Dave's place?

Kathy and I will leave early (12:30) from Dave's place because Kathy needs to work the Zilker Fest from 1:00 to 5:00. :(

Scott Mc. 03-25-2004 10:00 AM

Gregg, I feel your pain. Son has a game in SA at 10am and 1.5 hr drive from here will make it tough. However, if the weather is stellar I will make no more excuses!!

Gregg(What's his name)? 03-25-2004 11:22 AM

SOCCER DAD!

Hell with the mini van. I am Soccer Dad and I drive a cobra.:D :D

I'll try and make it

Since my kid isn't playing soccer yet, I might be able to make it with the wife, kid, and in-laws.
Mike Shay, Twomey's did a great job on my paint, but I haven't got the body on yet.

mustangmendez 03-26-2004 07:35 AM

I have alot going on right now dont know if I can get out till later tonight .
I picked up my wheels they fit good but the rear tires just dont look right so i ordered some Bigger Ones 305-35-17 on a 11 inch rim . The spinner caps stick out to far so i am having them cut down to a 1/4 off the center .
Have Fun .....

Cammer 03-26-2004 02:40 PM

Ed,

I think it's fixed - don't need your jumper cables, but would be glad to caravan out to RenMan's place with you - let me know when you are leaving and where to meet you!!

Usual Spot!

10:30am at ChickFilet. ;)

Ed Hubbard 03-26-2004 09:28 PM

Well, I got everything done except about half the carpet, but I'll see you guys there!

Johnnyquest 03-27-2004 03:26 PM

Hooray to more Cobras in the Austin group, sans carpet and over-riders for Ed.

Had a good time, weather held, nice 130 mile drive for me.

Ed Hubbard 03-27-2004 06:44 PM

Same here! I'll post for the April meet right after I post this. Good to see everyone today.

renaissance man 03-27-2004 08:32 PM

Great seeing everyone today. It's rare that I can break away so having you all at Nonna's was a real treat for me. Hope to have you all up for dinner on Friday evening.

I'll post our lunch and dinner menu's on the Big Willy's Web site tomorrow at www.bigwillys.com just click on the "Nonna's Cucina" Image on the Home page.

Ciao for now....

Ren Man :)

Ed Csoltko 03-27-2004 08:56 PM

Great turnout!

Even Joe Z and his new baby, and John Winkler and family showed up.

Snakecharmer, we missed you. Next months meet will be closer to you, so no excuses. If Joe can make it, so can you.

Darren showed up with his new FFR (Welcome aboard!), so did Ed#2. We should be seeing more of Ed#2 since his FFR is nearly finished.

Snakecharmer 03-31-2004 07:27 PM

Sorry to have missed you all. I'm glad that the turnout was so good and I'm glad that it was held at a member's business. Very nice gesture Ed. I'll try and make the next one, but any chance to make some money will take precedence until I can climb out of this hole that I'm in.

Love you all,

Charmer
