Houston - Car Hauler Inquiry
Hey Houston Guys & Gals,
As part of my Company's annual March of Dimes campaign, we are selling squares to our employees (like a football pool) for an opportunity to be chauffered be me for a day in the Cobra or receive a $50 gas card (which is what the winner will likely request). Our Florida office caught wind of it and someone asked if they won, would I go to Florida. I'm considering making them an offer to do so if they match my theoretical gas cost by tenfold. Problem is that it is a bit too long of a trip to drive the Cobra, but I would haul it. Finally my question ... Does anyone know of a place in Houston that rents enclosed (preferably) car haulers, and what might the cost be? Thanks, |

Call Trailer Wheel and Frame 8222 I-45 N Houston 281-931-7777 They have a 28' enclosed car hauler that they rent for $125.00 a day I think. You will need a diesel truck to pull it or they won't rent it. Hope this helps, Kelly |
Rick, A buddy of mine says there is a place on 1960 (between Jones RD and 249 that rents all kind of trailers. I'll see if I can find out something today or tomorrow as I live near there.
I am toying with the idea of buying an enclosed Hallmark trailer about 18/20' Long. I am seeing them for around $3K for a good used one. I think they are a little over $5K new. Mark |
