Houston Meeting June 12
Houston meeting will be Saturday June 12 at Sundance Grill about 11:oo AM. Afterwards, some of us are going to the car show in nearby Kemah. Hope to see y'all there.

David old friend, I regret that I will be unable to join the revelry in Kema this Sat. Having successfully dodged numerous household responsibilities for some months now my wife has encouraged me to stay home and deal with these issues. She has indicated that any attempt to weasel out will be dealt with firmly and without mercy. I am not particularly hen pecked as you probably assume but do have a certain sense of self preservation. Besides, I noticed a rain cloud forming in the far Pacific that could pose a threat to the event. Should the meet be rescheduled I feel confident I will be able to attend. Pete.

David, FYI weasels do not "cluck" so it wasn't me. Actually, I'm confident I am in complete control of my marital situation,but I'll have to check with Diane first to see if it's OK to say that. Macho guy.

Had a nice time yesterday. 8 people and 4 Cobras (One was cleverly disguised as a Ford Expedition.) As usual, food was great at the Sundance Grill. We then went to car show in Kemah and strategically positioned ourselves at the Cadillac Bar to watch the boats (and bikinis, etc.) pass by while we were enjoying our adult beverages. We should do this more often. :)

I just want to say thank you to Boyd and Emily for my first ride in a Cobra. I had a great time. Thank you to Jim, Sharon and David for letting me tag along.

Sierra, you are welcome to tag along anytime you want. After you get your drivers liscense, you can bring the Cobra to the meetings when your Mother and Dad are busy! (Assuming your Dad finishes it by then) :D
