Tube Bender - Anyone?
Anyine have a tube bender...a proper tube bender(NOT PIPE BENDER). anyone interested in using one if I bought one. I am building a couple of roll cages and I am looking for my best option...
I know that most places will bend for $5/bend but that means if you don't get it done right the first time or you want to try a few options, then I will be making quite a few trips...anyway, if you happen to have one let me know! If you think you might be interedted in using it if I got one...let me know as well. |

In my spare time
We're building ITA,ITB and ITS cars for SCCA. We are using 1020 DOM seamless mechanical tube. The machine can be programmed for 10 bends with a springback compensation. I can make a centre hoop with four bends in about 3 minutes once I have the programme down. Do you have an accurate template as you need that or the car right there is best. I can help give some bending and programming advice if you can think of specific questions or you could call me and we'll BS about it. 603-279-0241.
