Hey, 66Snake

Alan,
After talking with you last night about your 418w and thinking it all over this morning,I called Keith Craft again and changed my order.

I decided I would take that extra step and go for a 600 hp 418w like yours instead of the 408w I ordered monday.:3DSMILE:

FRED

If you want to splurge a little more, My Kieth Craft motor is almost the same as Alan's, it is aluminum blocked and 427 cubic inches. Makes for a pretty lite weight package, 612 horsepower-615 torque. Either way, you will be happy with either package, I promise you.

Don, Bernie

I did consider the aluminum Dart block. For the horsepower level I was looking for I just couldn't justify the cost to myself.

I can live with the 80 lbs. it would have saved.
Besides it would have cut into my summer vacation funds.

This West Texas boy can be happy with the est. 470 rwhp.:3DSMILE:

James Baldwin 06-17-2004 09:26 AM

Considering Fred weighs only 80lbs himself, the weight of the engine should not be an issue :)

392cobra 06-17-2004 11:30 AM

James,
Thanks for explaining why you think I don't need to spend $ 3,200 to save 80 lbs..

By the way,I would like to borrow your infamous a$$ kicking boots for the next time we meet.:3DSMILE:

Watching the bikinis on the beach does help ease the pain of waiting for the new stroker.:3DSMILE:

There seems to be a link between the bikinis and the long rod stroker too.:D
