Let's Go Bowling!!!
Y'all might know that Jeanie Baldwin and I bowled in a bowling tournament for the domestic violence agency I work with back in January. You may also have heard that she is a MUCH better bowler than I. :)
Well, now you too can have the opportunity to show off your bowling skills and do something charitable at the same time. The first event was so successful that they are doing it again. I thought this time it would be fun to get a TCC team together. I mean we all have matching shirts, right? ;) The 411: New Beginning Center Summer Bowling Event Rowlett Bowl-A-Rama 5021 Lakeview Pkwy (near Rowlett Rd & 66) Sunday, August 1 1-4 pm $20 includes 3 games and shoes |

In my former life (before kids) I bowled on a ladies league (we were NO GOOD, but we had fun!) and I would LOVE to bowl with the TCC for a charitable cause especially, BUT, alas, I will be in Sweden on August 1st. pity, pity. Move it to the next Sunday, Fred and I will be there. Right, Fred?? But, I know these things are often set in stone, so ya'll have fun, and maybe I can make the next one..... Kristen |

Actually, I'm thrilled y'all can come. They are teams of 6 so we've still got room. You can bring the cars, but who'll be outside babysitting? Actually at the last one, Alan bailed on me due to his nose surgery 3 days before. Funny thing is, he was able to make it to John Ross's house that day. Hmmm. Fred and Kristen - Travelling? Both of you? At the same time? Unhuh.I get it. ;) ;) Actually I know Kristen has a special wedding to attend so I'll cut you some slack. But only one of you better have a tan when you get back. |

Unfortunately this event has been cancelled. Baylor Garland is having a deal for their new wing that day and 2/3 of the NBC board and various other folks have to be there for that.
But they are planning one for Jan. again. I'm still willing to go bowl if anyone's up for a much less competitive event. ;-) |
