CSX4758 gets Air Conditioning!
Ever since CSX4758 has arrived I have not been able to spend much time with her since fat boys sweat a lot. LOL......and I mean A LOT!!! Well after suffering heat stroke from all the visitors over the weekend, last night a friend and I went SHOPPING! Saturday we will be installing something I should have done many years ago..AIR CONDITIONING in the garage. All that is needed is electricity. The line is already run from the fuse box, up into the attic and across the garage ceiling where it drops out on the other side of the garage where we use to have a hot tub. SOOOOO if any of you that have electrical handy man knowledge please feel free to stop by and have a look see. Susan is also ready for this as I've been acused of spending too much time in the house watching HER TV!

Garages usually have no insulation in the attic or outside walls,
insulate where you can and enjoy....I did. |
That was your garage ???%/
I thought it was your sauna. Kept wondering why everyone was keeping their clothes on. :3DSMILE: |
I was waiting for you and Kristen to break out those Thongs I've heard about!
Gary |
Kristen didn't get her thong back from me ,so I guess I would have been ready.:3DSMILE:
Don't think anyone else would have been ready for it though. |
Fred.......
I think you are correct on that one!
Gary - You're going to love it man. I A/C'd my garage in my Irving house and it was terrific. Where's Allan when you need him? :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: |
Go All the Way!
Why not put ac in the CSX4758? Then you can spend all your time with her. With all that horsepower you don't need a electrician.
|
Gary, You will love it. I installed AC in my garage when I was building the Cobra and that along with the Kenwood sound system that I also put out there, made all those hrs a bit more fun. Hardly noticed the Houston heat.
If you have a metal garage door you will want to insulate that other wise you end up running AC while the gargage door acts as a heater. enjoy |
Going to look for a garage door insulating kit at lunch today!

Gary..........
Home Depot sells some foam insulating material in 4'x8' sheets that would work quite well. It's probably about 1/2" thick or so. Check it out.

I mentioned your need of an electrician to Alan after he got home Saturday. He was kinda tired and cranky anyway and just hung his head, turned around, and mumbled something about letting me go off and have menage a trois fun (thanks Kristin!!) in Gary's Purple Room and then roping him into more work. ;) :p :D
|
Colleen....you better leave that hard working man alone...especially when he has to work on Saturdays. You're going to have your hands full enough when he reads Kristen's thread under Jeanie's birthday wish.

Gary,
If you are getting every thing wired for A/C don't forget the REFRIG for the Cold Beer! |
Beer!?!? No one said anything about beer! HELL YEAH I'll come put that A/C in. Make it a Coors Light. :D
|
Did someone say BEER! We can do that. Your wish is my command! Wow....this means I might have A/C before the sun sets.....................which means then I do have to start working on the car.
YIIIIPPPPEEEEEEEEEE!!! Gary |
I will bring you a car-welcoming present of beer tomorrow!
