Finally getting paint......
 
To be a little different than what you usually see...... about a year ago that kinda mustardy yellow with black stripes was what I originally thought I wanted. People I talked to either loved it or hated it.

Then I decided on blue. Seems everyone likes blues and reds. But there were so many blue colors, and lots of them were already on a lot of Cobras.

Then I saw a new Mustang with Sonic Blue, and that is what I decided on. It is a bit deeper than Royal or Viper blue. I will post more pics when wet sanding and buffing is completed.

Classics are just a bit larger cars than some brands, and most you see have wider stripes with a 2" vs. the usual 1" gap. I compromised and went with "medium" width with 1 1/2" gap.

Lookin'good!! Ever since I saw a mustang painted sonic blue, I thought it would be great for a cobra. Can't wait to see it finished.:cool:
