Kristen, If your back check the gallery out. The Cobra has just left the paint shop. I used the 'PPG' - Guardsman Blue colour. Sorry to copy. Then again, we are unlikely to be side by side with our Cobras. The colour was amazing to see when wet off the gun. It changed as I walked around the paint booth. %/ Since the coats of clear have gone on the colour has taken a whole new look. Will wait to see what it looks like with all the bits back on. I guess to copy is the 'sincerest form of flattery'. Well my story. :3DSMILE: Certainly looks a hell of a lot better than the gallery photos in white Gel coat with black stripes. Cheers Bernie |

Had a great trip. Glad to be home. I know it's been months since you've planned this paint job. Way to go!! Remember in my gallery sometimes the paint seemed to change colors? Yours changes a bit in the fluorescents in the paint booth, too. It's a beautiful color. Not too blue, not too grey. I like the stripe, too. Happy driving! It appears (from another thread) that the texas group is planning a breakfast this Saturday. It might as well be in Aust. as it seems just about that far from me! Come join us sometime, and hey, I'll make room in the garage for another guardsman blue Cobra!! Kristen |

After checking and double checking the paint code, we painted. %/ I was really amazed at the colour - as you have said. Importantly I am very happy with the results now that its cleared and in the sun. The yellow stripes were a last minute addition. It will be a few weeks before I can get it back together, as I head to New Zealand early tomorrow (Friday here). **) So back into it when I get home. Aiming to have it ready again for September. Just updated the gallery with some new photos. Nearly there 90% back together. Will upgrade gallery once all back together.
