Look out Texas USA we are on the way

Well you guys in Texas had better start sending your money off to the America's Cup Challenge team fund.

**)

Because we are on the way to collect the Cup once more.

Well I've been busy - to busy to get on the Forum - as we have been training hard.

Now that's plenty of drinking and plenty of hard training. Commando training regime. Up at 5.00am, we start with a ten mile run, followed by a heavy gym workout just for a warm up and to sweat out the alcohol..:3DSMILE:

Have 'Posted" a few photos on the gallery here. Secret photos taken in out training camp...

We have become a lot faster..%/.. In fact we can now down four beers in three minutes. So look out..%/

We are on the way.

hey, Bernie! Which cup are you referring to? Athletic Cup, Bra Cup, golf cup or that Boat cup, thingy?
It seems to me drinking and exercising don't fit in the same sentence!!!

hey'littlecobra

Kristen,

I think we would be pushing to win a coffee cup. Have failed with the bra cup - now that's another story. But willing as always to go back into training here.

Now we need a least three beers to replenish the lost fluids after working winches. Also we always win in the bar after a few beers.

Take care

Bernie

tryce

Whilst this was a bit tongue in cheek, I have sailed in Geelong on the Corio Bay for a number of years.

I'm reasonably big and usually end up as 'mainsheet' hand or on winches.

These days I get a pain if I stay on the winches to long. I'm certainly not as fit as I was ten years back.

We sailed mainly on a Young 38 a NZ design and a 46 race boat. good fun. All on Olympic courses.

When I was in HB Cal. I caught up with a restaurant owner and we went over to Balboa Island (spelling) down Jamborree to the coast.

Sailed for a day on a 38 there. Nice slow tour around. Enjoyed it. I would love to be able to do the SF Bay under the bridge etc. Maybe next time.

Yes busy now with the Cobras also.

Cheers

Bernie
