Brent, the CC clock is 8:15 minutes behind!

I know it's the New Year and you are having loads of fun playing with your new and impressively fast server, but it appears the CC clock that logs in out posting time is off by approximately 8:15 -behind our actual time...at least CST. When you have a moment, could you take a look John Russell..........Your Texas friend!:LOL: :LOL: :LOL: ps. the actual time I will be posting this is10:52am CST I guess I need to clarify. 8 hours & 15 minutes. I just posted to check the time and it is just 3 minutes off from Pacific Time. I posted at 12:11:31 and the post showed 12:08 Ron :) |
Ron, Am I looking at a different clock:confused: Your post time shows 6:08am on my screen. Current time is 2:27pm CST

It shows 12:08 on my computer for the last post I made in this thread. I am loking at it now and it still shows 12:08. Ron :) Edit:: Now this post shows 12:43 and the time is actually 12:46:35 |

when you go to your user profile screen, you have to pick a zone off of the GMT. I believe my "zone" selection is somewhere is the middle east, as that's what give me the most accurate "real time" posting time for me. If I click on the "US central time zone" then it's off by hours. I did that at first, and wondered why soo many people were posting in the middle of the night. Changed the zone in my control panel, and viola, it "matches" better. Been off by a couple of minutes, but not a big deal to me. I didn't like the 7-8 hour difference. Go to the Control panel and see if changing it there helps.

I changed from central time (-6hr GMT to +2hr GMT, somewhere in Africa) and the time is correct. Thanks Goddess! |

I guess I slept a bit too long in 2005, so I changed my time zone to reflect the correct time and I now reside in Kaliningrad, South Africa and am on Eastern European time. Damn!!!
