Sorry Guys
Well, I can't make the Austin trip this year. Too much going on at my new business and trying to compete in the national SCCA autocross event in Arkansas on Sat and Sunday. I actually bought a plane ticket to fly down on Thursday and back on Friday, but the check in for the SCCA is too early on Friday for me to make the connection. I know, my loss not yours. Anyway, my neighbor Steve Putnam moved to Austin last month. I invited him to stop by the Marriott and look up some of you guys( John, Matt, Jay, Greg, Doug, etal) and you would take care of him. He's down there without his family, so he's lonesome and looking for something to do. No he does not have a Cobra, just a lowly Boxster. So invite him to be the cows tale for the Sat hill country run. I owe you. No more Tennessee convicts to Texas comments.

We'll miss you. But try to have a good time this weekend. I know it'll be hard without us. ;) I've marked Steve's name down on my registration list as someone to watch for. If you talk to him tell him to hit the registration table and we'll make sure he gets a good welcome. |
We're going to miss you my friend but there's always another time and another place. Hopefully we will see you in Tulsa! Have a good weekend anyway and will raise a toast to you while we're there.

Thanks for the help, and did I read it correctly that there is drinking involved at TCC events? I had no idea!!!!!!!!!!! May have to rethink.

John, I apprieciate the support and kind words and am very sorry that I'm missing the do-ings. Save that single malt. Ron, Freddie and I are looking at coming down to the Barnes Woodard car circus for a driver tuneup. Will keep you posted as the schedule firms up. If that single malt is about to go bad, I'm sure that Steve will help keep it from the trash bin. See you in Tulsa if not before.

Maybe I should meet Vicki and Jacque somewhere in the middle. I didn't care about seeing Greg or Cammer anyway. It's the beautiful TCC women I come to see.
