Where to go for June 4th Dallas Gathering
Hey everyone,
Any suggestions for the location for June's gathering? How about somewhere near the Tollway and 635 this time..I'll arrange it if we can get some suggestions. Billy |
Tollway and 635? Well being as its June you need to plan on a breakfast location....its going to be too hot come June for lunch. Can't think of much right off hand...I know we have done a place on Midway and 635 before...Tom will probably chime in.

I won't make it
Sorry guys,
I won't be in town for June's meeting. Even if I would be around, I don't think, I would be able to eat something at 7 am. Have a good time. cu Thomas |
Perfect. 7 a.m. on June 4. Any later, and I wouldn't be there.
Do you think the tires will be relettered by then?? Inquiring minds want to know!!! ;) Owens, Midway at LBJ. Which corner (NE, SE, SW, NW, or on the north or south service road of LBJ, or on Midway???) sorry, ya'll know I need exact location!!! |
Sorry guys, we won't be able to make it either. We are taking the kids away for a while for some R&R.
See Ya next month. Tom, The kids told me to tell you to take care of "BOOTS" for them. They are so happy about the puppy. |
Wish I could be with you guys...
But I can not. The family and I are leaving for Italy tomorrow A.M. I sure that It will not be as fun as breakfast with the Royal Rooster, but we'll try and make do. 6 A.M. in Dallas is noon so I'll be thinking of you durring lunch.

I'll be camping/hiking/training for Philmont!
DANG!!!:( :( Once again, the prez will be absent from a monthly meeting. Our scoutmaster and I will be at Camp Wisdom with our ten scouts for the last weekend of training before we leave for Philmont, New Mexico on June 8th. We will spend 12 days camping in one of the most beautiful areas in the United States, hike approximately 75-80 miles in elevations ranging from 6700 feet at base camp to a little over 12,000 feet when we overnight at the top of Mt. Phillips (most likely in snow!).
If this doesn"t kill me, we should be home late on June 21st. Y'all have fun now, 'ya hear? John Russell |
my oldest goes to philmont July, '06. They are already planning for it.....
good luck, John!! you'll need it. It's beautiful and difficult, all at the same time! (so I've heard) We've been told only 3 changes of clothes for 10 days. ewwwww. Right up my boys' alley.... |
I need my beauty rest
Guys,
I will be in town next weekend, but in order to stay as good looking as I am, I definitely need my beauty rest that early in the morning. I would have come to finally see you guys again after a long time, but 7 am --> no chance! Ute |
good to hear from you, Ute
I don't blame you for not coming!!! It is pretty early.....
I still haven't painted my tires, so they aren't on the car yet. Hopefully soon! gotta go. Kristen |
Unfortunately I will be getting ready for Tulsa which is next week...crap I didn't know it was that close...
And when I said breakfast Tom I didn't mean with the chickens..I was thinking 9-10 brunch...sheeze...7 is way way way too early.. Matt |
