hey, Fred! Remember those storms I talked about??? It dumped buckets of water all over. The long and winding road- to the tech station was full of shallow potholes; full of water, grit, mud, greasy goo, and everytime you drive thru one it splashes all that gunk up. The pipes and spats got the worst of it.
Then it all dried on- like going thru an oven with the pipes so hot from the runs down the track. I do find it funny now. It was even mildly funny, entertaining at the time! The only really disappointing time was not getting to run at Hallett, after all the time and effort to get the bypass fixed quickly. Next year!!! |
