TCC OCtOBRAfest 2005
The Houston Chapter of the TCC wants to welcome everyone to the 1st Annual TCC OCtOBRAfest on beautiful Lake Conroe, October 28th, 29th and 30th. We want everyone to join us at the Del Lago Conference Center & Resort for a relaxing time and enjoy some great East Texas Fall driving weather. It will be a wonderful time to get together and enjoy everyone’s company before the drive season winds down for the winter.
We will meet at Del Lago Friday afternoon to visit and consume some adult beverages. Saturday we will strike out on a late morning drive the Sam Houston National Forest and grab lunch over near Lake Livingston. We will make our way back to Lake Conroe in time to watch the sun set over the lake. There is a block of rooms reserved at Del Lago, just mention you’re with the Texas Cobra Club when you make your reservations to get the group discount. The number is 1-800-DelLago. You can check out the resort and all its activities on their website at www.DelLago.com. You can find maps and driving direction there as well. As we work out the details of the drive for Saturday I will post some updates. I can just see it now:The wind blowing thru my hair a cold drink in my hand Cobras all over the place .......%/ Then I see Kount Z Skipping thru the sand as the sun sets rose pedals floating in the breeze as KountZ pulls them out 1 by 1 ! We live just across the lake from Del Lago, won't be spending the night there but I hope we can make the Friday night get together and Saturday cruise. |
