Visiting Austin

Hi guys
Gonna be in Austin at the end of Sept for a wedding. We plan on staying longer to check out the city. Got any good places to eat and see. Fri and Sat are out for dinner but the rest of the time is ours.
thanks for your help

Some of my favs are....

Shady Grove, indoor/outdoor restaurant, it's over by Zilker Park...1624 Barton Springs Road. Friday nights there is usually a band...Saturday nights they show old black/white movies outside.

Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen, located on 6th street.

Mt Bonnell, you can get to it off of 2222 between Mopac and 360.

Kerbey Lane Cafe, 24hr breakfast cafe, the original one located at 3704 Kerbey Ln. Off of 34th street I believe.

Mozart's Coffee Roasters, located on the water at 3825 Lake Austin Blvd...excellent coffee and desserts.

If you like a "fun" atmosphere and food with a Mexican/Hawaiian flavor suits your fancy, you might really like the Hula Hut out on the lake.
