Run-n-Gun Video from James #44
I have attached a small video of the Coupe tracking at Run-n-Gun 2006. The quality is not great on the website, but it gets the job done. Enjoy...

James,
WOW!!! Cheers! Dave |
Great job James, BUT next year you go into PRO....
Clois |
wow James
Just think how fast you could have gone if you would drive the correct line;)
Jay |
..........
|
Clois, "PRO CLASS" I don't think so, but probably "PREPPED CLASS" is more my speed... I think I could shave a few seconds off with some DOT legal tires vs the street tires.
Jay, what lines? I was just pushing the throttle and hanging on by the seat of my pants... James |
James, way cool. Congrats on your success. Need to catch up sometime.
Mark |
James,
Thanks for the ride. Hope to be there one day. Greg |
James, it's almost as fun watching that video as it was being behind you.... (well it seemed almost that fast in the lead/chase session!!! )
You are a very very good driver. It was a pleasure watching you drive, and following you around as well. Thanks for all the support and positive comments you gave me. The entire event was truly a perfect learning/driving experience. seeya in Austin! :D kristen just for you... http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...m/DSC01533.JPG |
So THAT'S how you do it ? Push the throttle and hang on. :MECOOL:
Do you do it with eyes open or eyes shut ? :D Jay - aren't there lines at the edge of the track that as long as you're between you're doing ok ? I guess when you cross that line it's time to push the brake, pucker up and hang on (with eyes shut) ? James - any idea on what you were hitting on the straight? Opinion around the office ~140. Doug I |
Kristen, thanks for the Kudos... and I meant what I said about your excellent driving skills. I think you will also be bumped up in class next year. Thanks for the pic...
Doug I, Jay clocked me with the radar around 125 before the start finish line while I am still on the throttle. I looked down a few times at the speedo and it was around 135 before I slammed on the brakes to enter turn 1. James |
James, it looks like you and the 240Z performed well. Guess maybe I can go next year since you are moving up.
|
pssssst!
If i can't rag James here ....every should:LOL:
Good performance James! Driving school pays off and quality builds make it work. I am proud of you grasshopper:D Jay |
david, you are bad, very very baaaaaad!!! 240z.
c'mon up, man, we had one good time!!! If I move up to 'street' from 'novice' you can have my spot at 'novice'. You should start out just fine there. ;) :D the flying goddess :D |
