We'll meet at Joe and Pat's house from 10:00 to 11:00. Then, promptly at 12:00, we will leave to go to Meyer's BBQ nearby for lunch. Afterwards, we will reconvene at the house for refreshments and relaxation. If you want to take a cruise, we can discuss it at lunch.
Looking forward to seeing you all, Joe and Pat |
This is an absolutely WONDERFUL idea!!!!
This is really a SUPER plan, and thanks go to all that are willing-and able- to make this planning event!
I wish I could make it, but due to a High School football regional playoff game on Friday night and planning for a Boy Scout Eagle Ceremony that will be held the following weekend my only contribution appears to be to make "sticky" this thread for the time being! Good Luck and Good Weather to all that atttend, John Russell |
THE CLOCK TICKS !!!! Anybody else coming to Elgin? I'm getting ready to book the barbeque joint, so let me know if you are going to make it to the meet. Plenty of beer, wine, and good times!

Joe & Pat,
Thanks for hosting the TCC planning meet at your home. We had a good group from the Houston and Austin area members, along with Collen from the Dallas area who attend the meet. Again thanks for your hospitality. |
Hi guys, Its been a long time. Two or three years! Yes, Jim Weatherall and I still have eleanor. She's getting a new lower more traditional look courtesy of some suspension mods. I am looking forward to getting active again. Hopefully I'll be ready to go as soon as the new wheels arrive. If someone wants to trade for some knock-offs with a ford lug pattern, let me know. Gail

Hey Guys, Would someone please do a new thread titled "Austin Spring Event details" and give us some of the latest details. I have new customers that may want to come and join in, but I'm scared that if they read some of the earlier posts they may run the other way.
Details please: Date, place, and schedule of some kind? Thanks, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. Doug Reed |
Doug,
Have them check out the thread "Save The Date - Spring Meet '07" Someone has added it to the Stickies. Colleen |
Colleen, It was my pleasure!
Hey Colleen,
I "stickied" it this morning when I saw it. Merry Christmas, John R. |
Coming from Dallas?
You can now take the spankin' new HWY 130 (tollroad) from just north of Georgetown (off of I-35) all the way down to 290 and it dumps you in Manor then it is an easy shot to anything on 290 east of Austin....it is straight and flat and pretty much an autobahn for the time being with little or no traffic.
