Love the Texas Winter
This weather is absolutely PERFECT !!
After 10 years of living in North East and East Coast I had forgotten how nice it is to be in Central Texas in the Winter. I got my car back on the road today and put some quality miles on in the 75 degree sunshine. Check out my photos in the Texas Gallery - |

a drive in the mustang is just what the doctor ordered. :) glad you had a great drive yesterday- and yup, this Texas weather is beautiful today. (we did have snow on Thanksgiving- back in hmmmm, '93????) |
The mustang is Mindy's - and I don't get to drive it much. She claims that I drive it too hard...
I am just glad she has found a car that she likes. I have had 8 early mustangs and she didn't like them at all. I bought this one to fix & sell and she claimed it when I brought it home. She helped with the suspension/steering rebuild and does all of the maintenance on the car. She doesn't like my cobra. (too loud, too hot, she is too short to drive it, etc., etc.) |
cobra IS too loud, too hot, and I'm too short to drive it, as well!! :eek:
I have a 'lumbar' pillow from pep boys that scoots me up. one of these days i'll have the tracks moved closer. my mustang is a '65 convert. the kids like it better- 3 can fit, and it's more of a fun cruiser for them. my oldest will be 16 in Dec., and i'm thinking i'll let him drive the four of them around the block in it. ;) :D if he gets his license!!! have a great day!
