Giugiaros Mustang

New breed of Mustang coming soon to a dealer near you (wishful thinking):

I like the single piece of glass forms the windshield and roof, which flows into the trunk lid.

I like the cowhide on the seats. I wonder if Giugiaros connected the cowhide with Shelby's Texas lineage. I doubt it.
I dig it.
I don't think anyone will notice the slammmed front end resembles the retro Camaro because nobody will see that one (based on press and interest).
The solid glass roof from wipers to taillights recalls the fastback lineage.
I'm waiting for someone to bring back the '69 shoulder vents into a retro package. Those vents give the Mustang the broadest shoulders and look really mean. My favorite styling year by far. I think Keith Craft had a body kit on a new model Mustang that included those vents, but I didn't get to see the finished product.
Glad to know folks are playing with it like the late '60's Mustangs too.
