Plantersville, Magnolia area????
Anyone on here from the Plantersville/Magnolia Texas area?
|
We live on the golf course in Lake Windcrest subdivision. That's off FM 1488 about 9 miles east of Magnolia, TX.
|
I live in Lake Windcrest as well, but we are selling the house and relocating to Ohio, in time for my Unique Cobra to arrive...
|
i just sent you a pm
|
I picked up my "turnkey" Cobra on Dec18. If you go to Austin/Houston January meet (12/17/2006) in the Texas club forum and scroll down to the last thread you'll se the rest of the story. You're relocating to OH-10?, man that sounds cold. I'm originally from Indiana, but have no desire to go back.

 sigx97 & csr,
Just picked up your PM. Just when I and another gentleman who posts on this website thought we were the most unfortunate customers in the entire Cobra replica universe, you send a thread that sounds all too familiar! Go to Rich Lihou's thread "Website dedicated to Daryl Holliday Motorsports" Consumer Watch Forum 10/16/2006 and check it out. Then go to the thread I added to the Texas Cobra Club forum "Austin/Houston January meet 12/17/2006. As to your request, I would be happy to "drive by" the alleged address you mentioned, but as for pictures, some of these "good ol' boys" who live in the boonies would just as soon shoot first and; well you get the idea. Seriously, I'll do what I can, I can relate to your predicament big time! In the meantime, good luck! |
sigx97,
Sent you a pm re: 16303 Azalea. |

 sigx97,
The post with two mailboxes is to the left at the end of the dirt road, so it's not possible to know which house is 16303 Azalea. Larry Q |
Larry-
Thanks, I will be calling the Post Office so they can clear this part of the puzzle up. |
Wanted to give the Texas guys another heads up so as to keep you from going through what I have gone through.
Carlton Wayne Bridges aka Grumpy d/b/a Grumpy's Garage and d/b/a COBRA 351 now has a judgment against him signed by Judge Cagle in the court system Houston Texas in my favor. It amazes me that people will not do the right thing and return monies. |

:mad:sigx97,
"And the beat goes on". Rich Lihou, the gentleman who started the "Avoid Holliday Motorsports" thread finally sold his "hand crafted Holliday creation" for $15,000. I know that Rich paid Holliday close to $40,000 for the car, so obviously something is wrong with this picture! LQ |
Next month will be the 4 year, yes 4 year anniversary of this email that started this whole crappy chain of events:
I held off based on the following and rising resin prices due to the fuel crisis OPEC has us in. My years as in contract engineering contacts has let me know they will rise to about where they are and drop back about 10% and remain, never to go back to the baseline of 2003. Your call on A, B, C, or Turn-Key. That said: Package A. Parts 427 SC: Frame, fully suspended (less shocks), aluminum interior panels, fuel line/and major brake lines run, body installed loosely for lift off at your shop. 60 days out Package B. Roller 427: Frame, fully suspended (less shocks), aluminum interior panels, fuel line/and major brake lines run, steering installed with wheel, dash installed, wiring harness installed, radiator installed, fuel tank installed, side exhaust installed (for ? engine), brake rotors/brgs/seals packed, body heavy catalyzed primed ready for paint, installed loosely for lift off at your shop for engine/tranny package to be installed, and Goodyear Eagle II's on chrome wheels with our Halibrand style inserts painted dark grey as a start up set of wheels. 90-100 days out Package C. Same as "B", only FE running (30-45 min "break in period"), scatter sheild, hayes clutch/press plate set up, toploader and shifter installed with all electrical installed, seats, side exhaust, emergency brake, roll bar temp bolted, "GO-KART" stage for your trimming out and painting. 120 days out Package D. TURN KEY of "C" (your color choice) 180 days We have been very busy in parts as of late and we get so many requests that not all are smoothly answered or the correct attention paid as required. You're now in "my top 20 prospective". thanks grumpy |
