The Coupe is for sale!
Well guys and gals, I have decided to put the Coupe up for sale. It hasn't been long since I've had her complete (8 months), but I'm itching at the seat for a race car project. This Coupe is SOOOO NICE :MECOOL: that it is very hard to put such a nice car on the track, even though it is truly a race car.
I am only offering it for sale on Clubcobra right now because I'd rather sell it to someone who can appreciate such a nice car. Maybe after Austin, I will sell it elsewhere if it hasn't sold. And YES, I will be in Austin with it next month. I really look forward to seeing you all again. Most of you have seen that it's featured in Kit Car Magazine this month and on the cover. I will tell you honestly that this is probably the nicest Coupe you can get your hands on. If you know any one who is interested send them the link. http://www.clubcobra.com/classifieds...hp?product=232 Thanks, James:rolleyes: |
I can not agree more with James' statements regarding his car. I have personally driven this car and can tell you it is one of the fastest best handling car you will ever find or drive. What is remarkable about this car is it can be taken out on the track or street and outperform virtually everything out there, then it can be taken not only to a local car show but to Autorama and win. Autorama is no little local car show. This is where people put hundreds of thousands of dollars into cars to win.
I have had 2 cobras and other hotrods and I have never had a car as nice or as competitive as James' coupe. I was told by a mechanic friend of mine many years ago, "it is not hard to build a show car (which he built many hundred thousand dollar + show cars) but to also make it a driver, is another story." Beautifull car James' and sad to see it go. |
Dave, I really appreciate the compliment. It means more than you know. I'm glad you enjoyed driving the Coupe as I enjoyed driving the "8" ball...
Whoever gets this car will be very happy. Thanks, James |
