I'm aiming to make the Run N Gun
Hi all,
Well I'm placing an order for air tickets and all. Hope to make the 'Run N Gun' again this year. Hershal has told me that he is heading over with the GT40 again. Look forward to catching up with you all there. Clois H. has told me to bring my race suit and helmet.........:3DSMILE:.. Looks like I will need to do some serious lap time at the Calder Park Raceway here in Australia, to get the reflexes up again..:LOL: I had tried to get to the London, Ohio event as well, but Anne has plans for other trips. It appears I just must go shopping again with her and hold onto her credit card..:LOL: Bernie |

Sharon went shopping all day Saturday and when she came in she asked if I would mind helping her unload the car. I am thinking she stopped by the grocery store on the way home, nope...Macy's was having a shoe sale! Dillards had got in some new spring clothes and they had this on sale... I won't say a word. I just ordered a new set of side pipes on Monday. Maybe I need to get something else ordered while the fire is hot? I love it when things work out. Clois |
Bernie, I am really looking forward to meeting you facve to face. With friends like Jay N. and Clois H., I have heard a lot of stories. I just need to know if the man behind them could really exist!:eek:

Would you trust me to pick you up after the trip to the airport at Columbus. 30 minutes to get you there - your directions and 90 to get home with me doing big circles..:eek: Not sure if Hershal will drive or trailer. I can remember a year or so back he trailered to the Run N Gun. I came over with Wayne Turpin from Evansville. Indiana and we trailered Waynes' Cobra. Bernie Bernie |

I have a new 'Thread' over on the ALL COBRA TALK site titled 'Eichler' houses. Anne has me out shopping and designing everything from wardrobes to bathrooms. Selecting tiles, floor coverings it goes on and on..:eek: Really I'm enjoying the house renovations. It has stopped me getting to London, Ohio 2007 though. I enjoyed that week in London as I caught up with Kristen, Jay, Fast Freddie and all the London and Columbus guys. The trip across from Phoenix Az. in the GT40 was great thanks to Hershal. Even made the pages of Kit Car last January..:3DSMILE:..Phoenix to London along the Route66, it was fantastic. Will miss that event - maybe next year all well. If Sharon is spending well join her, make sure you get your share of the credit card...:3DSMILE: |
UPS dropped off my side pipes yesterday. A few more things in the mix will be coming soon, I hope. No matter what it is I order/receive I have a standard answer: "I must have forgotten that I ordered those that weekend you bought all those shoes and stuff...they must have been backordered."
We will definitely have a great time at Run and Gun. I am not sure if Lew Payne will make it back this year or not because he has a busy fall schedule. But surely we can come up with some kind of Liquid Refreshment at the end of the day? Clois |
